Prenatal Classes

 Congratulations! A baby is on the way! Along with your excitement, you may be nervous. Tummy jittery? Wondering how to be sure Daddy feels included? Concerned about how you'll be a great Mommy?

Join us for a fun, educational series that will give you and Daddy some good information that will prepare you for the greatest adventure of your life!

Receive a new infant/toddler convertible car seat upon completion of all 5 classes, while supplies last!

What information is covered? We cover many topics relating to having a baby: changes in mother’s body, development of the baby, nutrition, labor and delivery, and breastfeeding. Guest speakers bring their experience about father involvement, coping skills, and taking time for Mommy -- very important in those first few weeks at home with your new little one!

Who facilitates the series? Professional health educators lead the sessions, joined by experienced professionals from area hospitals, clinics, birthing centers, WIC, and LaLeche League.

How do I register? Complete and mail the registration form with your check or money order paid to the order of the Family Resource Center. Space is limited. If you have any questions call the Family Resource Center, 940-566-1800 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Payments can also be made through PayPal now.

Who may attend? Any pregnant woman and support persons interested in learning about pregnancy, and promoting a healthy birth.

When and where are the classes held? Classes are held at the Family Resource Center, 1316 E. McKinney St., Denton, TX. and consist of five sessions on Tuesdays from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.

What is the cost? $70 per person payable in advance. Pre-payment and pre-registration is required. Sliding scale information is available. Call 940-566-1800 for details.

Will I receive a Certificate of Completion? All participants who complete the 5-part series receive a certificate of completion. Classes begin and end on time. Please call us at 940-566-1800 if you have any questions.
