The mission of the

Family Resource Center Of North Texas

is to strengthen and support families through education.

Through FRCNT's Family Life Education Programs, we strive to prevent child abuse & injury, relationship violence, and substance abuse.

• Encourage parent involvement in every aspect of their child’s life
• Enhance parents’ abilities to be supportive and nurturing
• Promote positive parenting by helping parents build and strengthen a support network
• Advocate the use of community resources
• Strive to reduce the incidence of substance abuse
• Educate families about the issues and concerns of aging parents and family members
• Help prevent child abuse, family violence, and other negative family outcomes

Job Training Opportunities through Experience Works!

 If you are:

• 55 years of age or older AND currently unemployed

You may be eligible for paid job training:

• 18 hours per week paid at minimum wage

Positions currently available at Family Resource Center of North Texas:

• Program Assistant at FRCNT agency office
